Amethyst
Amethyst is so often requested that we have devoted an entire collection to exploring this deep violet semiprecious stone in its various states. The word Amethyst comes from the Greek word, for “not drunk”, since in antiquity, these crystals were thought to protect the wearer from intoxication. Amethyst has long been associated with healing, wisdom, and level-headedness. Amethyst is February's birthstone.
